As of right now, not too much is known about the mobile version of Call of Duty that is set to come to mobile devices within the coming months; but the actual release date has yet to even be teased, with most people seeming to suspect that it’s going to be released during some point in 2019. Being developed and published by Activision and Tencent (a massive company in China) has hopped onto the hype train of the popular FPS Call of Duty and is set to bring it exclusively to China. Whether the game is ever going to be brought out of China and localised for the rest of the world currently remains to be seen, all depending on just how much hype and want there is for the game.

While not much has been known about Call of Duty: Mobile so far, the game seems to be getting a fair number of leaks over the past few weeks and its revealed what the gameplay looks, along with some of the maps for the game that the game is going to take away from the original titles. First of all, the game appears to control exactly as its PC and consoles counterparts. You still move as you normally would: reload, shoot, aim down sights; there honestly isn’t too much in the way of changes. Anyone that’s looking for a return to form of Advanced Warfare, Black Ops 3, and Infinite Warfare are going to be disappointed, however, as there are no exo-suits or anything of the like, at least, for the time being.

Supposedly, the game is set to involve some of the most popular characters, maps, modes, and weapons, without requiring all of the same mechanics that come about from the games that they’re taken from. Following on from these leaks, a new piece of information has been discovered, with the main one being the confirmation of zombies. Although, from what we’ve seen of the footage, it doesn’t appear to be the usual horde mode that we’re all used to. Instead, each part of the zombies game mode is set in a vast number of different missions, with each mission requiring an objective to be completed on your part. Some of them involve getting to a certain point, killing a certain number of enemies, or simply surviving for as long as you can.

This time around they’ve added the inclusion of a timer, implying that if you haven’t completed the mission on time, you’re going to end up having to restart the mission, whether you like it or not. Another inclusion is the advent of a boss monster. There’s only been one boss monster that’s been revealed, but it’s a rather large, hulking butcher-like monster that’s rather slow, but has a heavy attack that can knock your health down by vast amounts. On top of all of this, there are even damage numbers – at least in zombies – which gives you an inkling of just how much damage you’re doing with each weapon.

As of right now, there still isn’t too much information revealed about Call of Duty: Mobile for the moment. The developers seem to be quite tight-lipped for the most part, and if it wasn’t for these couple of leaks in the last 2 weeks, we wouldn’t even have the information that we have now.
