Modern Combat Versus has been soft launched last week on the Philippine Appstore. While it’s kind of unfair for android users that won’t be able to try MC Versus, iPhone and iPad owners from all around the world should be able to play and share their feedback on this new upcoming online FPS fron Gameloft.
In order to play Modern Combat Versus on iOS if you are not in the Philippines, you will have to use a VPN and create an iTunes account located in the Philippines.
What is a VPN ?
Behind this acronym lies Virtual Private Network. To summarise, using a server you will be connected to a distant server located in your selected countries, and in the case of Modern Combat Versus, Philippines.

Create an account on the Philippine iTunes
Create a new account on iTunes is not complicated but I suggest you switch to your desktop as it will be much quicker than on your iPhone or iPad.
So first thing is to log out of your current account and change the country of your store. Then go and download a free app (not paid as you don’t want to be asked to enter your credit card details).
iTunes will ask you to sign in so select « create Apple ID ». Then sign up using local information as address, etc..For this you can easily find on Google the information you need. Create your Apple ID, verify your account and you are good to go.
Play Modern Combat Versus using a VPN
Next step is to sign out from your current account and log in with your new Apple ID. Then go and download Modern Combat Versus
Note that updates won’t be automatically downloaded and you will have to sign in with your Philippine account. Also, make sure you login in game to save your progress so that when Modern Combat Versus is officially released in your country, you don’t lose your progress. You will have to delete and reinstall the game.
