One of the most popular genres available on both the iOS and Android platforms is the racing genre, and a fun and enjoyable sub-genre of this one is the drag racing genre of racing games. Sadly, with how many games that can be found on the mobile app stores it can be a little difficult to find a decent selection of titles, so I’ve decided to wade through some of the best and the worst drag racing games currently available on mobile platforms.
CSR Racing 2
First up on the list, we’ve got CSR Racing 2, which is a great F2P title from the developers over at Natural Motion. When it comes to the gameplay in this game, it’s what you would typically expect in a drag-racing game; hit the accelerator when you’re ready to go and shift up a gear when the speedometer needle hits the green zone on it. Providing you keep hitting the shift button at the right time, you’ll manage to keep incrementally increasing your speed until you cross the finish line; resulting in the winner earning a bit of cash and some respect.
After racking up a bit of cash, you can purchase a car of your choice and considering most of the cars on offer are some seriously supped up super cards, there’s plenty on offer. In terms of gameplay the game promotes fast and frantic gameplay with some gorgeous looking vehicles. Of all of the drag racing games out there, this one has some of the best car models around, and that’s just one of the main reasons the game is so enjoyable.
