Golf Clash: Tips and Tricks

Golf Clash is a great new mobile, golf game that has started sucking many, many hours from players all around the world, but it isn’t the easiest game to become the best at without a little help here and there. To combat this, I’ve pieced together a little guide that is filled with some tips and tricks that could help a beginner or a veteran to the game that I wish I had known when I started the game up for the first time.

Upgrade Your Clubs

In games such as this one, it is quite easy to forget that it isn’t a simple golf game, where the only objective you ever have to do is go straight for that hole in as little strokes as possible. Golf Clash still operates under this formula, but there are a lot of factors that can alter just how well or poorly you do when against your opponent, with the main one being your clubs. At any point in the game you can upgrade your clubs and you will almost instantly see the results. You can even do this for the very first clubs in the game, which are fairly bad in their own respect, but the second you upgrade them you can quite clearly see the incredible difference between a default club and an upgraded one, and that’s just at the start of the game as well!

Use Appropriate Power

When you’re in the middle of taking your shot, you can alter just how much power you put into it before you commit to swinging the club and hitting the ball. By pulling back on the screen, you can add more power to your shots, but at the cost of the power arrow moving a lot more erratically, which can be a little difficult to get used to at the beginning, but it is something that’s worth getting adjusted to after a little while. During the instances where you need less power, simply swipe up some more on the screen, rather than backwards and you will be able to take your next shot without it going flying when it’s so close to the hole.

Back and Front-Spin

There’s a mechanic in this game that can alter the trajectory of a ball and the speed of it if it is used correctly and that comes in the form of back-spin and front-spin. Putting some spin on your ball for the first time isn’t the easiest thing, so it might be worthwhile to try and practice it a little bit in some of the lower leagues, just so you don’t give your opponents some free wins. Once you learn how to use these spins correctly, however will greatly improve your gameplay and it’s going to make reaching the final league that much easier, if you’re willing to put in the time and effort on what it is you’re meant to be doing with it.

Don’t Forget Chests

Chests aren’t particularly hard to get, nor are they that difficult to open, but people forget far too often to actually open these, when in actual fact they are invaluable to any player. After all, chests can get you your new clubs, new balls, and plenty of other little extras that will be warranted additions to your account. This is one of those silly things you don’t want to forget, so be sure to be mindful when your next chest is ready to open!

Adjust for the Wind

Whenever you start up a quick match of Golf Clash, you might take note of the “wind” in the upper left of your screen and if you’re not taking note of it then you absolutely should be! Due to the wind, it can make seemingly perfect shots land you in the rough or possibly even in the water, but the wind isn’t always bad; providing you can use it to your favour. For instance, if the wind exclaims that it’s going straight towards the right, you can take a shot in that general direction and make use of the wind to help you travel around a particularly difficult corner and other obstacles. All depending on how you use it, the wind can definitely help or hinder you in almost any situation!
