Gameloft’s first person shooter franchise Modern Combat is without doubt the benchmark when it comes to military first person shooter on mobile. Since the release of Modern Combat: Sandstorm in 2009, Gameloft has been constantly improving it’s franchise taking inspiration from the likes of Call of Duty and Battlefield and adding on the top of it a robust multiplayer mode for the gamers. However, Gameloft has not released a new Modern Combat since Modern Combat 5: Blackout in July 2014 which is very long time on mobile.

Gameloft was actually onto something new to shake up a bit it the franchise, working hard on Modern Combat Versus. Teased back in October 2016, Modern Combat Versus is a multiplayer FPS. This new episode is not prequel nor sequel and focus only multiplayer experience and for this occasion Gameloft has been working on a brand new engine and promises graphics on par with the GPU of our 2017 smartphones.

Modern Combat Versus will let you play with different types of agents, all of them with unique personalities or abilities so will have to build your team according each character statistics. Modern Combat should get short launch any time soon with 12 agents belonging to 4 different classes:
- Attacker
- Defender
- Assassin
- Specialist
