Spring and Summer are coming and I can’t help but wanted to play tennis when I walk around the Tennis Court in the park nearby. Cross Court Tennis 2 – The most realistic Tennis simulation on IOS and Android
Cross Court Tennis 2 is a tennis game developed by Refined Games, Inc. It’s a free game paid but you will have to pay 1.99 USD to unlock the full content. Having played a couple of hours, i can say that Cross Court Tennis 2 worth it. At the moment, this game offers the most realistic gameplay as you can see in the video below. Cross Court Tennis 2 let you create your characters, develop his skills and participate to 15 tournaments against 45 distinct opponents.
On the bad side, Cross Court Tennis 2 does not support multiplayer and the customization/players building is a little light. The choice of rackets, short, T-shirt is quite limited which is disappointing for a paid game.

Ultimate Tennis – The most complete Tennis game on mobile
As you can read, I am not using the word simulation to describe Ultimate Tennis. Because it is not, but it doesn’t means the game is not great. Ultimate Tennis , developed by 9M Interactive, features a deeper RPG and management function whereby you can create a team recruiting new players that you will have to improve via training, new gears, etc… For instance, you will have the possibility to play on 3 vs 3 and change players and change players in the match if the guy gets tired. Each player also have a super shot, for instance super slice, super lob,..that you can activate after the strike is fully load. For instance, I had games where I had to strategically change player to benefit form a better super skill in order to win the game.
The reason I consider Ultimate Tennis the most complete games is because it proposes 4 games mode: World Tour, Arena, League and Master as well as playing against other players in friendly games.
On the downside, I feel less tennis sensation than Cross Court Tennis 2 in which the gameplay let you feel you can put the ball wherever you want. On the other side, you get a full Tennis game for your mobile with a massive potential if the gameplay evolves a little more toward a simulation.
Ultimate Tennis is available on Android for free and contains in app purchase. (also on IOS)
3D Tennis – The Most arcade tennis game for your mobile
Tennis 3D, developed by Mouses Games Limited, is a very cool tennis game if you want to quickly launch a game. In Tennis 3D, you don’t control your player movements, you just need to hit the ball at the right time, swiping left or right for intense rallies. Not much to say here, Tennis 3D does not offer deep customization and offer only 2 game modes: World Tour and Quick Play. World Tour offers 14 tournament including Roland Garros, Wimbledon, US Open,.. You will earn money for each tournament won that you will be able to spend in the shop to customize your players and increase his stats.

Tennis Champion 3D – The mix between arcade tennis game with some added difficulties
Tennis Champion 3D, developed by Giraffe Games Limited is not purely arcade the way I see it. For me, arcade is about immediate fun, no question asked. On Tennis Champion 3D, everything is arcade but you do need to be very careful on your shot at the a bad timing or direction will send the ball outside the court or expose you to a deadly strike from your opponent.
